Part 2: The puzzle piece for success

Currently, we have nearly 200 caddies, most of whom are among the young generation and the millennial. Our course always respects equality between genders and different careers, and all matters are evaluated based merely on talent and passion.

Therefore, you shall not be surprised to see small girls smiling brightly under the 40 degrees heat on our course.   

There are also days when caddies have to wear raincoats and run through the course to search for the balls, from the grove to the river, along with completing numerous other important tasks throughout the 18 golf holes.  

Sometimes, caddies are not only golfers’ companions but also guide them to effectively hit and direct the clubs. After all, caddies must be familiar with the terrain of the course, understand the direction of the wind, and be able to judge the distance from the ball to the hole and read green for the golfers. Moreover, they are responsible for seeing the direction of the ball to remind and assist the golfers in unexpected situations.

These 200 silent companions have created remarkable success for both our golf course during the past 5 years and for the golfers in recent seasons.

The common house of the 200 caddies is always vibrant and constantly developing.

And we acknowledge that the success of West Lakes today is, without doubt, thanks to one huge puzzle piece – the silent Caddies.
